What to expect at your first visit.

Getting to know you
The evaluation starts with your medical history, then your story: childhood, family dynamics, relationships, and what brought you in today. Chronological, unhurried, in your words.

A plan, together
From that conversation comes a treatment plan you understand: medication when it makes sense, supplementation, and practical homework such as ways to reduce anxiety, sleep hygiene, and building a routine, with a referral to therapy when it would help.

Testing, when indicated
If your labs aren’t recent, we order them. If several medications haven’t worked for you, GeneSight genetic testing helps show which ones fit your biology.
- 04
Follow-up that fits
You’ll be seen again within two weeks to a month after the first visit, depending on how you’re doing, and on a steady rhythm from there, in person or by telehealth.

Psychiatric care is insurance-based; this practice exists to be accessible. Functional medicine services are self-pay.
Accepted plans include Blue Cross Blue Shield, Humana, CarePlus, Oscar, and more. Call the office to confirm your specific plan.
