Meet Dr. Oyaga.
Dr. Alberto Oyaga, DNP, APRN-BC
Founder · Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner
Dr. Oyaga is a board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner with a doctorate in nursing, licensed in Florida and Massachusetts, and fully bilingual in English and Spanish.
He came to psychiatry through hospital medicine. Raised in Colombia, he watched patients receive good medical care while their recovery stalled without emotional support, and the lesson stuck: mental and emotional well-being is just as vital as physical health. More than seven years of clinical practice later, his goal is unchanged, a space where people feel heard, validated, and never judged or labeled.
His evaluations go deeper than most, back to where things started rather than just this week's symptoms, and his follow-ups are built around a belief that most of psychiatry's value lives in the conversation, not just the prescription.
Don't take my advice as a provider. Take it as a friend you don't know. And you watch the tension drop.
